Throwback Thursday – (Tuesday Edition)
We thought it would be fun to take a look at some vintage tv commercials. In a new segment we’re calling Throwback Thursday, we’ll be perusing through our nation’s genius, and sometimes incredibly embarrassing advertising moments of the last 60 years or so.
In today’s inaugural edition of “Throwback Thursdays” (even though it’s technically Tuesday, but we were too excited to wait), we take a look at a few gems from the 1950s and 60s.
In part one of the vintage commercials series: Doctors recommend Camel cigarettes, Coca Cola makes you thin, and just slightly radioactive cold cream. (Cosmetic atomic testing booklet not included.)
